Transforming ad sales with a single platform on Salesforce
Fairfax Media is one of the largest media companies in Australia and New Zealand. It’s the trusted voice informing, engaging and entertaining audiences and communities via newspapers, websites, radio stations, events and dynamic digital venues.
Fairfax New Zealand selects CloudSense to accelerate digital sales transformation
CloudSense, a global leader in Salesforce-native commerce solutions, today announced New Zealand media company Fairfax has selected the CloudSense Platform to transform the ad sales process for its digital business.
With CloudSense, Fairfax will create a unified sales experience in Salesforce and fully integrate into Google’s DFP Sales Manager system, accelerating Fairfax’s sales transformation program. The move follows the successful rollout of Salesforce Sales Cloud to the Fairfax sales team. This has already seen a 56% reduction in time that was previously spent on administration, rather than selling.
Streamlining ad sales with a single system
Now, the CloudSense Platform will streamline ad sales with a single system that empowers the sales team to seamlessly check availability, configure, price, quote and contract – all without leaving Salesforce.
This single integrated advertising platform will ensure a simple and seamless customer journey – from first inquiry right through to billing and beyond. At the same time, with CloudSense and Salesforce, Fairfax will have a 360-degree view of its advertising sales pipeline and other valuable management information.
“With Salesforce and CloudSense, Fairfax is creating a customer-centric business”
“Fairfax is continually developing its digital sales capability to be a leader in the media market,” says Gareth Codd, Commercial Director for Fairfax New Zealand (NZ). “The CloudSense Platform will help us continue this transformation and deliver stronger and better-guided sales performance, both for individuals and the company itself across its digital platforms.”
“Today, as everyone and everything is becoming more connected, companies that focus on the customer have the best chance at succeeding,” said Dan Bognar, SVP Solution Engineering, Salesforce. “Fairfax is in the midst of an amazing business transformation. With Salesforce and CloudSense, Fairfax is creating a customer-centric business and connecting with advertisers in a whole new way.”
“CloudSense is currently building significant momentum globally, working with industry leading companies like Fairfax that urgently need to transform its commerce process with fast product innovation, simple user journeys and an enhanced understanding of customers,” says Richard Britton, CloudSense CEO.
