Spotify selects CloudSense for advertising sales support
CloudSense, a global leader in Salesforce-native commerce solutions, has been selected by Spotify, the award-winning digital music service available in 59 markets globally with more than 100 million active users, to support their digital ad sales processes. The CloudSense platform will deliver a unified ad sales experience for Spotify within Salesforce Sales Cloud, by seamlessly integrating with Google’s DFP.
Reliable automation and improved revenue recognition
The Spotify global ad sales team across Europe, North America, South America and Asia needed a reliable automated solution to book and report on ad campaigns from Salesforce Sales Cloud, which they use for customer information and opportunity management. Improving revenue forecasting and recognition was also crucial, with the required information for advertising revenue coming back from Google DFP.
By replacing the previous solution, Spotify will benefit from quicker releases of the latest Google DFP functionality. Previously troubleshooting was problematic, sometimes taking hours without a simple way of identifying the source of an error. Often errors were as a result of the solution, as opposed to coming from Google DFP. Spotify will be able to resolve future issues in a matter of minutes with the robust query tools and error outputs.
